Hey! I'm Brian (Phreak), Founder of Hikes247.com. Hiking is my obsession. If I'm not hiking on the trail, then I'm most likely planning my next trip(s). I'm a speed hiker by nature - fast pace & high mileage. Often logging 30+ miles per day.

I'm self-employed as a dog trainer, web developer & general contractor. This allows me plenty of freedom for spending time in the woods.

Hello! I'm Lisa (Corn Dog) Brian's better half *grin* and co-creator of Hikes247. When I'm not running or backpacking, I'm putting in my 40 a week as an IT professional - so getting outside on the weekends is vital (as I'm sure fellow "cube inhabitants" will agree).

When Brian (Phreak) and I met, in March of 2003, he swept me away to the great outdoors! I got into some mountain biking, running (worked up to a half marathon), and with the addition of our two fur babies enjoy hiking and backpacking as much as possible.

Hi everybody! I'm Maggie (a.k.a. Maggs, Maggie Waggie, Wagalope, Waggers, Schwaggers). I am part Beagle and Rhodesian Ridgeback and I'll be 4 on October 1, 2008. Mama and Dada adopted me from a guy who found me at the park and they brought me home. I was so excited that they found me because not only do I have a home now, but I have a sister too!

I have a lot of energy and love mornings! I love to run and play as much as I can so I go hiking a lot! I have my own back pack and tent and being outdoors makes me so happy. I get so tired at the end of the day, but I get back up the next morning ready for more! See my pictures here on hikes247 to see for yourself. I'm such a show off. ; )

Hi everybody! I'm Suzi (a.k.a. Suz, Woozy, Sissy). I am part Shepherd and Lab (we think) and I'll be 4 in March '08. Mama and Dada adopted me from a shelter here in Atlanta. I found them, actually. I looked up at them from behind my cage and I knew they HAD to take me home. I have more love than I've ever known, and have lots of fun with Waggers too.

I learn stuff pretty quick and I love to hike and backpack. I have my own back pack and tent, but I prefer to sleep outside in the leaves. I love to rip and snort with Maggs in camp and run around the next morning in the cool air. I love people and other dogs, so when you see me on the trail, stop and say "Hello!"
